Dérive uses video to explore sensory mindfulness during a spontaneous exploration of Jardin de Tuileries in Paris, France. Through the pairing of sound and color, viewers are immersed in a visio-auditory experience, connecting them to the present moment. This work draws from the situationist, psychogeographical practice of the dérive outlined by French philosopher Guy Debord.

Tell me your dreams don’t look like this replicates the sound and color correlation with added visual collage elements in video format. The piece illustrates the sensation of homesickness for nature.

CW: Please be advised that the flashing colors may be disturbing for some viewers.
